Explaining The Game v 1.0

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN!
I am MVP #1, meaning you're getting the facts from the hottest player on Catch27.com.
Building Your Pack
Now, the game isn't exactly as hard as most of you make it out to be. It's actually quite simple, so stop thinking about in such a complicated way. To start off, in order to win anything you need 27 Cards to do so, so if you don't have 27 cards in your pack, don't bother on thinking about a theme until you have 27, because that's when the real fun starts. Now, the way you build your pack isn't so hard. Stop thinking like it's MySpace.com and you send a friend request, it's not like that. The way you build your pack is to invite people to the game. This is probably the most common way to get more cards. Easy enough once you've registered, filled out your Playlist and you Itchlist, invite three people to the game. You go about this by clicking the, "My Pack" link in the upper part of your screen and finding your "Invite" link, either that or you manually invite people by their E-Mail address doesn't matter to me, whatever floats your non-existant boat. NOW, after you've successfully invited three people onto the site, you get your free card. So simply click, "Get a Free Friend", in the upper left hand corner near the trade room status. Now you have one card in your pack :D. Simple eh? You're already on your way to building your pack. The next step is pretty simple, start to invite more people to the game the same way you did the first three. This will build your pack pretty quickly. Now the great thing about inviting people is that, if YOU invited them into the game, then all the people that they invite you get into your pack as well, so encourage people to actually play instead of just signing up. Like I said, it's not so hard.. don't worry about the actual game right now, until you have 27 cards, which I'll explain what happens after that later on in the directions.
Ok now that you know how to invite people into the game, and you know that those people jump right INTO your pack, I'll explain another way to achieve this. If you don't know many people and you need those cards bad, you can buy anyone's card. But the price varies depending on how big of a player they are. I suggest if you're just starting out and you want some fast cards you can always just buy a Wax Pack, which you get 3 random cards for 99 cents. Not too bad eh? You might actually get someone good too. Now to buy a Wax Pack isn't too hard, just click the "Wax Pack" icon link to find out how to do so. It should bring you to the "Get a Free Friend", link like you've visited before. Just simply click the, "Buy A Wax Pack Now", don't forget you need a debit card or credit card to do so. If you get more into the game, you can decide to individually buy the player's card. All you have to do is if you seem then around, click "Gotta Have Him/Her".. while you're searching through the database of cards through what type of cards they have. Or by going into their player card's profile, and clicking it in the upper right hand corner. Like I said I wouldn't suggest this unless you REALLY want the person or are far into the game and know more about what's going on, but anyhow that's another way to build your pack up. One thing to remember if you buy the cards though, you DO NOT get the people they invite into the game into your pack, so that's why invitation is more of a probable answer to your situation.
This is the last way that you can build your pack bigger, not an easy way but.. none the less it's another way and I feel the need to explain it to you. Ok, if you're in the trade room, and you have a card everyone wants.. hey you might be able to trade that card for more than one card. So hey you may think you're GETTING a bargain but, someone wants that card for a reason remember that. It's kind of like baseball cards in how, the more the card is worth.. the more valuble it is. It's like saying, would you trade a Babe Ruth card, for some Rookie 2005 card? I wouldn't, but hey that's no reason to trade what you want to trade. You can be superficial and want someone for how they look but remind yourself how far will that get you? So yeah pretty self explanitory click on the "Trade Room" status in the upper left hand corner to join the trade room. To send an invitation to trade with them, simply click, "Talk To Me" below their card. Now you may actually get some invitations, the screen will refresh, and it will ask you if you'd like to Accept or Deny the trade invite, simple enough right? To look at someone's pack, simply click, "See My Catches" below their player card. Simple as that, now you know how to build your pack up.
Have 27?
Ok, so you have 27 cards in your pack right? Well congratulations, the real fun is about to begin. After you have 27 cards in your pack, you can start to build what we call, "your theme". Now this isn't too hard to understand and is usually where it gets alot of people. SIMPLE, your theme is something like, "27 People Wearing Jeans". That's considered a theme, although not a very good one, it still is a theme. Now to have 27 People Wearing Jeans, you would have to have 27 people in your pack all wearing jeans in their picture, simple right? You can be entirely versatile with this, this has such freedom you can be as creative as you'd like. ALSO, you can do 27 people saying similar things in their profile like, "27 Brittany Spears Fans", (hopefully that does not exist on Catch27, but it's a mere example) where 27 people would mention they love Brittany Spears. See how free this is? You can do ANYTHING you want with your theme, go crazy with it, be as creative as you want. To be original is the key, to have a theme NO ONE would ever think of is the brilliance of it all. The more original your pack is, the better your prize will be. Also, it doesn't help to do a theme someone has already done, so always check the, "Who's Winning" link, on the front page of Catch27, where our goofy girls Lisa and Alaine write things about the people who've won. If you've come up with a theme, go for it, trade with people to get what you need, do what you have to, to get those cards. Also, after you get 27 cards, this doesn't mean you can't invite more people to the site, so keep on inviting, that just betters your chances.
Submitting Your Theme
Think you got a rocking theme to submit? Easy enough, click on "My Pack", and go to the link that says, "Submit your Collection of 27 for a Prize". After you've done so, pick out the cards from your pack that you wanted to do the theme about, and submit it. EASY, you're all done, wait for them to review your pack and decide what you should get. Reminder, this might take some time, they are busy, lots of people submit themes, so they have loads to review, so give them some time.
